LaFame ("we", "our", "us") is a smart booking and AI receptionist platform serving salons, spas, wellness studios, and women-focused businesses in Jordan. Our platform allows customers to book appointments via WhatsApp and helps businesses manage their schedules, staff, and client communications.

When you interact with LaFame through WhatsApp or our web platform, we may collect:

• Your WhatsApp phone number — used to identify you and send booking-related messages.
• Your name — provided voluntarily during the booking flow.
• Booking details — the service, date, time, and business you book with.
• Conversation history — WhatsApp messages exchanged with our AI receptionist, stored temporarily to manage your active session.
• Device/technical information — basic technical data such as timestamps, used for system reliability and fraud prevention.

We do not collect payment card details, national ID numbers, or sensitive personal data.

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and confirm your appointment bookings.
• Send you booking confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages via WhatsApp.
• Maintain a waitlist and notify you if a slot becomes available.
• Allow the business you booked with to manage their appointments.
• Improve the reliability and quality of our service.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.

LaFame uses the WhatsApp Business API (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to deliver automated messages. By messaging our WhatsApp number, you agree to receive booking-related messages from us. These include:

• Booking confirmation messages.
• Appointment reminders (24 hours and 2 hours before).
• Follow-up messages after your appointment.
• Waitlist notifications when a slot becomes available.

You can opt out at any time by replying "Stop" or contacting the business directly. Meta's own privacy practices apply to the WhatsApp platform — see WhatsApp Privacy Policy.

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers (DigitalOcean, located in the USA) and our database is managed through Supabase with row-level security enabled. We apply industry-standard measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Conversation session data is temporary and cleared after your booking session ends. Booking records are retained for as long as necessary to provide the service, or until you request deletion.

Your booking details (name, phone number, service, date/time) are shared with the specific business you booked with through the LaFame platform. That business uses this information solely to manage your appointment. We require businesses on LaFame to handle your data responsibly.

As a user, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Opt out of WhatsApp messages at any time.
